Still on Vacation Patrol...
Greetings folks. Still on vacation patrol...Florida last week, California this week. El Jefe will return next week, hopefully tanned (well, er, moderately sunburned only), rested and ready. See y'all later.
Both my Manchester and my Gilbert books are pretty well-worn, I enjoy both authors.
I recently acquired the Great Man's Marlbourough biography, (Lord M was the greatest British general), and will start it soon. I wish I could find an unabridged copy of Churchill's "The World Crisis" (on a World War I thing right now).

You're doing every beach but the best one on Hilton Head Island!
I've started the Martin Gilber Churchill biography.
Pretty good. But, I still like the William Manchester set.
