Obama's Outrageous Speech

I hope to have a fuller, more reasoned reaction, soon, to President Obama's absolutely outrageous speech yesterday, at the National Archives Museum. For the moment, I want to think more on what he said, on what Vice-President Cheney said; and on what I'm going to say, and read everything again. But the explosion will come in due course.

I was completely appalled. Shouldn't this country be more focused on something else other than punishing our own people for avoiding attacks by getting information by any means necessary?

Team Obama insists that the memos Cheney referred to in his speech detailing what we learned from enhanced interrogations prove nothing. Yet they won't release them. I wonder how many Americans are aware of that?

Obama also repeated the big lefty lie that Gitmo was a recruitment tool for terrorists. This has been repeated over and over again but there's never been any evidence it was true. How many terrorists have been captured or made jihadi videos citing our treatment of detainees at Gitmo as their primary reason for going on jihad???
