Cheese...

Pecorino Romano cheese is very yummy.

Just thought I'd pass that on.

cheese is very yummy.

you say that about all cheese.......

i have to make a very off topic comment.
i have been watching nasa-tv all afternoon.
these people may be rocket scientists, but they haven't got a clue as to how a venitian blind works.
how does it work?
gravity.
what do you not have in orbit?
gravity.
full disclosure: my degree is a BS in mechanical engineering.
during operations today on the international space station, one of the solar arrays malfunctioned. this was done during a retract/closing operation. some of the folds didn't.
the reason i am making this comment is that some place some where, there is an engineer, probably running a liquor store, who's watching the video via nasa-tv, and saying "i told those dumbasses that would happen".
that's what happened with me.
the folds do not have a memory.
they are inanimate(sp) objects.
if you want it to fold a certain way you have to force it to do so. it's like folding a road map via pushing on the edges. it will do what it wants to do.

el jefe lives in the houston area. can't you talk some sense into these people?
there.
i'm done.

LL,

All men are brothers, and all cheese is yummy.

I've been a space nut since I was a kid (one of the few federal boondoggles I've given grudging approval too). I've been mad, mad, mad at NASA ever since they killed the last three (already funded) Apollo missions and opted to develop the Shuttle and muck around in low earth orbit as opposed to cool things like Moon bases/mining and cruising to Mars.

I'm not an engineer, but I ain't much good at folding up maps properly.
